Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992), is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of the role of actress Savitri for her role in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her professional career started in the early 2000s as a child actor. Her return to the film industry following her study of the field of fashion. Her first main role as a lead in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. It didn't do well at the box office. Even though the film was not a success at the box office the film she made her debut in is A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005), which she starred in alongside Vikramprabhu. To fit in larger projects, she was forced to pull out of films she had already begun working on. They included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. This meant that she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played the role of Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film has been delayed since 2015, with the possibility of release in September, 2020 with a brand new title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was made in the year 2016 and featured in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa opposite Vijay director Bharathan.
